This talk first introduces the relationship between cryptography and theoretical computer science and mathematics, and then briefly reviews the development history of cryptography, focusing on the public key encryption algorithm of modern cryptography, and mentions the impact of quantum computing on public key cryptography. Then, I will discuss post-quantum cryptographic algorithms that resist the power of quantum computing. Finally, we will introduce side-channel attacks against cryptographic implementations and cryptographic techniques for privacy-preserving computation.
