With the wide spread of COVID-19 epidemic in many countries and regions around the globe, Zhiyuan College has not only expressed its deep concerns and sympathy to overseas partners and alumni, but also has taken practical actions to help them solving their urgent problems.

Fighting the epidemic is a common challenge facing all mankind. Since March, Zhiyuan College has been actively approaching international partners as well as Zhiyuan students, alumni and who have been conducting academic programs at other countries, and getting to know their current situations and needs. After knowing the extreme shortage of protective materials in these university communities, Zhiyuan has completed the collection of overseas addresses, procurement and delivery of the first batch of masks within three days at the end of March. In the middle of April, Zhiyuan has delievered two additional batches of protective materials. Carrying Zhiyuan's blessings, about 10,000 masks were sent to the United States, Japan, Singapore, France, Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland and other countries, which has conveyed Zhiyuan’s sincere friendship and strong willingness to help out those who are in need to fight against the epidemic.

Up to now, 9 overseas partner universities and 31 overseas teachers have all received masks. They had expressed sincere appreciation towards Zhiyuan’s warm concerns and help, and are looking forward to continuing to maintain and strengthen the friendly cooperation with Zhiyuan College after the elimination of this epidemic. They believed that under such difficult conditions, international cooperation in the field of academic research would also be able to move forward and further create an environment of mutual trust. Another 51 alumni have also received the protective masks, and they have sent their best wishes to Zhiyuan College.
