Between October 4th and 10th, a delegation led by Prof. Weike Wang, Xi Ye and Undergraduate Advisor Shenyuan Chen from Zhiyuan College visited Lomonosov Moscow State University (referred to as “Moscow University”). Moscow University is the largest and oldest comprehensive institution of higher learning in Russia.

During the visit, the delegation visited the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow University, and communicated with 10 professors there.

Professor Razguli introduced on the current international exchange program of Moscow University, and Professor Xi Ye introduced the cultivation concepts, measures and results of the top-notch talents of Zhiyuan College. After the introduction, the two sides showed intention of initiating cooperation and talked about relevant details.

In addition, Zhiyuan delegation also contacted the Zhiyuan students who are currently studying at Moscow and asked about their study life, student activities and career planning etc.. Also, the delegation met SJTU student representatives from other schools that are visiting and studying Moscow Aerospace University to learn about the current situation of the exchange of international students.

The visit has established a bond of exchange between the two universities and laid a foundation for future collaborations, and further exchanges and cooperation between the two universities in the future can be well expected.
